Last General Meeting

OYFANS! It's April and the school year is coming to a close. Tomorrow will be the last general meeting of the semester, and its time to meet the new Executive Board and Executive Council in action! Come to Cabell Hall room 311 at 7:30 PM on Thursday April 2nd. Get excited, because this last month is going to be an exciting one for OYFA!

PINAGTAGPO: Brought Together

Barrio Fiesta 2009:

Come out to OYFA's 21st Annual Barrio Fiesta! The show includes a play and dances- both traditional and modern! The play portrays the issue of the socio-economic gap in the Philippines, but focuses on the Manila area. Pinagtagpo is about two brothers who are reunited after being raised by two separate families of different socio-economic status. Come witness the struggle as the brothers try to understand and accept each other's differences.

FREE Filipino food will be served before the show- starting at 5:00 pm and the show starts at 6:30 pm. Free admission! Please come out and support OYFA-- tell all of your family and friends!!!.

As is tradition, OYFA's first years participated in a cultural presentation of dance and music at UVA's annual Culturefest.
